The content is pitched perfectly. There is an uplifting, empowering, and enabling tone throughout, while also not hiding away from the issue at hand. It is so important that the trauma week is included as this is what is missing in other programmes within our portfolio. I can imagine that this is so helpful in conveying to the service users that they are not ‘crazy’, that what they are experiencing are normal responses and that they are not to blame in any way for what has happened.

I think the programme will genuinely make a difference in the lives of victims and survivors, which is all we want in the domestic abuse sector. The content was very clearly written form a trauma-informed perspective, which is great for facilitators and for those attending the programme.

 Fantastic, very current and up to date – Trainers not only brought professional and personal information, but the passion and space to talk through each subject/area and have room for reflection on practice, made this course so enjoyable – I cannot wait to facilitate.

Great variety of visual aids suitable for different kinds of learners. Use of up-to-date statistics/law etc makes the programme content feel current and suitable for such a programme in 2022.

The programme is so current it’s almost in the future! It is absolutely fantastic and love that it is intersectional too.

I really enjoyed the tone of the training and how it felt like a safe space for all
in attendance. I’m so looking forward to facilitating this and am sure this will
be the new ‘must have’ programme in the domestic abuse support work sector.

The content of the programme is very effective, up to date and goes into a depth that has never been delved into before. It includes so many things that are in dire need, and in fact wanted by our service users.
